I enjoyed the alaskan fish for dinner. It was fried fresh & the sides were tasty. I can always count on CFF to get it right! Great friendly service & great fish!!!
The fish was incredibly fresh, flavorful and not greasy. The sides were very good our kids loved the food. The staff was super pleasant, helpful, and made the experience even better. Great food and great people—highly recommend!
I ordered from their food truck when it stopped in my neighborhood and not only were the portions incredibly generous for the prices (which were themselves super affordable!), suffice it to say, these folks know what they're doing! Everything was terrific - their hushpuppies (as a certifiable hushpuppy fanatic) were so phenomenal I walked down again later that same evening to get a whole additional side order of them for my sister so she could see just how great they were too :) Special shout-out to the employees working the truck that night too - they were all so friendly and nice; I can't wait to check out the full restaurant in Garner one of the next times I'm over there! 10/10! (I don't even normally write Google reviews, but the whole experience was just that great, it felt like it would be a crime not too!)
Review on December 19, 2024: 5 stars We visited Carolina Fish fry yesterday to order three to-go plates. I always enjoy the "at sea" decor of this restaurant. It's a happy-go-lucky type of atmosphere. The cashier was very professional and courteous. I ordered three trout specials. The food came out within a reasonable time. My parents and I truly enjoyed the food. It was flavorful, and it was cooked right. ______________________________________ Review on November 3, 2020: 4 stars My family and I stopped by Carolina Fish Fry to pick up some dinner a couple days ago. This was our first time at this restaurant so we took some time to look over the menu before ordering our takeout. They have a large selection of diverse entrees which I loved. The cashier was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. She took our orders and our food was ready within 15 minutes. The portions were just right. The red snapper and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. The flounder and the devil crab could have used some more seasoning but the food was still good. Overall, we each enjoyed our meal and would visit again.
We had some delicious food from this place ! The drive thru line moved quickly. They have a great variety on their menu. Our fish was perfectly prepared ! Best hush puppies ever ! I got fried fish, my wife got the jumbo shrimp. I really enjoyed the fish ! My wife says they were some of the best fried jumbo shrimp she's ever had. We're definitely coming back.
I cannot believe it took me so long to ever find this place. Today’s special was whole Red Snapper, and it was delightful! I have enjoyed the flounder, and shrimp here as well. The sides are Southern Style, and authentic. I now have it pinned in my favorite places.
Wow, they have a great selection on the menu and they use fresh oil You can tell and it's delicious fried or grilled. And very reasonably priced.
My husband and I stopped in here for an early dinner and it was pretty busy even though we weren’t there at peak hours. It was really good !! I had shrimp tacos ( fish or shrimp tacos are one of my favorites) and these were the best I have had! They had both fried and regular shrimp . Yummy . My husband had a flounder sandwich and he thought it was delicious. The fries were hot and crispy . They made it fresh so it may take a bit longer for fast food but it was worth it.
